Manuscript in two parts. First part (leaves 1-219) late 16th cent. Second part (leaves 220-363) copied in 1684. Homilitic instructions of the Holy Fathers, dogmatic and polemical in character. Includes "Homily on faith" in 100 chapters (Stoglav) by Gennadius Zlatostruj, Patriarch of Constantinople; Michael of Constantinople's Epistle to Peter of Antioch on the Latin heresies, with various excerpts on that theme; homilies on the two natures of Christ, the birth of the Son of God, heresies, "on the word without beginning" (Jesus) and the Theotokos and why is called as she is, by Cyril of Alexandria; questions and answers, by Maxim the Confessor; interpretations of the verse "Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us", by Basil the Great (note: in Ms. Hil. 477 the same text is ascribed to Niketa of Herakleia); interpretations of the same prayer by John Chrysostom; interpretations of the symbol of faith.
